Hello-I have had my copper IUD for almost 1.5 years. I experience breath taking cramps at times, granted only a few seconds but this must be what contractions feel like! I was interested in others experiences who've had it for 1 year or more.

I have not had any children.

I have not had any children. I had considered going to the dr. but it's typically just one day out of my cycle that I get these cramps, much like when I first had it inserted. So I figured it was "normal" but wanted to hear other's stories.
