Gianvi is the generic version
Gianvi is the generic version of Yaz, which is a combined hormonal oral contraceptive pill. Gianvi contains two hormones, an artificial estrogen and progestin. Both pills contain the exact same chemical: Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol. Therefore you should not notice any difference between them.
If you have not gotten your period yet a possibility is that you are pregnant. 1 in 10 people who use combined oral contraceptives get pregnant each year. Have a pregnancy test right away, and if you are pregnant, stop taking the pill. However, keep in mind that other things besides pregnancy can make you miss a period, such as travel stress and dieting.
Best of luck,
