Will I get pregnant if we had sex on the 7th day from the start of my menstruation? Coz I had menses last feb 4 then we had sex on the 10th, till now i havent had my mens yet.

If you had unprotected sex on

If you had unprotected sex on the 7th day after the first day of your period, you can get pregnant. This is because ovulation happens about 14 days after the first day of your period. The egg lives only for 1-2 days, but the sperm can stay alive inside your reproductive tract for several days, waiting for the egg to be released and you to become fertile. Now that your period is late, I suggest a pregnancy test.

You can use your natural body rhythms as a form of birth control. It's called Natural Family Planning, or Fertility Awareness. Visit http://www.contracept.org/natural.php to learn how to make this system work for you. Don’t try to use this system without learning more about it though, or you may end up unexpectedly pregnant.

Best of luck,
