what are the five natural family planning methods?

Popular natural planning

Popular natural planning methods include the calendar/rhythm method (one of the oldest methods), the ovulation or cervical mucus method, the basal body temperature method and the sympto-thermal method (a combination of the ovulation and basal body temperature method).

Breast feeding can also be used for birth control, and is probably the most popular birth control method worldwide. However, it is only a temporary method for women who choose to breastfeed their infants.

Newer methods that are more effective but less well known include the standard days method and the twoday method.
