is there any way i can get the abortion pill without my parents knowing at age 14 in colorado?

Most states require parental

Most states require parental involvement in a minor’s decision to have an abortion. Many states require the consent or notification of only one parent (usually 24 or 48 hours before the procedure). These laws vary by state.

In the state of Colorado, you not are required to get permission from your parents, but they must be notified. The only exceptions are if it is a medical emergency or if a judge rules that you are mature enough to get an abortion without your parents knowing.

An abortion, even by pill, is a serious procedure. I strongly encourage you to speak to your parents about your concerns before seeking an abortion. Although your parents may be disappointed, they can also be very helpful and supportive.

Best of luck,

Hi Monnica, I'm sorry to hear

Hi Monnica,

I'm sorry to hear that you have found yourself in this situation. Having an abortion is not any easy decision to make. If you are able to talk to your parents you really should do so.

If not planned parenthood is a clinic in most states that do perform abortions. They do not speak with or communicate in anyway with your parents.

Here is a link (you may have to copy and paste it in your browser) you will need to type in your zip code and it will show you the closest Planned Parenthood near you in your state.
