is it true that youll not get pregnant if you have sex 5 days after the last day of your menstrual period?

The answer to that question

The answer to that question is false. Generally after the end of menstruation the fertile period begins. During menstruation the fertile lining of the uterus is released. After that point the body prepares itself for the possibility of pregnancy, so the lining starts to build up again. If you have sexual intercourse during this time, the sperm can live for several days in the cervix. Once an egg is released the sperm can then fertilize it even if you did not have sex on that day.

The best way to learn when you are fertile is to practice natural family planning, also called fertility awareness. Click on this link for more information: http://www.contracept.org/natural.php
