I missed two of my pills so on the third day I took one the next I started to spot and I took my pill this morning I woke up with my period which I'm not supposed to have for another 2 weeks. Why is it here and could i be pregnant?

If you miss a pill, the thing to do varies based on what kind of pill you were taking. Some types of pills allow you to double up and others do not. You should always ask your doctor or pharmacist for instructions rather than using your best judgment in these matters, because otherwise you risk getting pregnant.

Stopping your pills is what typically triggers the withdrawal bleeding that you think of as your period, so when you stop taking pills, bleeding is to be expected. You should use a backup method of birth control for the next seven days or until you speak to your doctor.

Best of luck,
