if you are on the birth controle patch, can u get pregnant on ur 4th week thats "patchfree"?

Generally the fourth week

Generally the fourth week that is patch free corresponds to the week where you take ”sugar pills” with oral contraceptives. That is the time where you will experience withdrawal bleeding (your period). In general you are not fertile during your period so the patch free week is not a time during which pregnancy would normally occur. That being said, no method of birth control is 100% effective, even if used correctly. So you can get pregnant during the patch free week even with perfect usage, but it is extremely unlikely.
