can a person be allegic to contraceptives

Hi, Yes, a person can develop

Hi,

Yes, a person can develop an allergy to almost anything. The most common contraceptive allergy is to the condom. This is a latex allergy and luckily condoms are also made from sheepskin.

Not knowing what contraceptive you are asking specifically about I'm afraid I cannot offer more advise. There are plenty of contraceptives available so if you or your partner has had an allergic reaction it is not wise to try and use the contraceptive again as some allergies can become life threatening. There are several contraceptives available I strongly recommend you try another one.

Best of Luck,
TammyM
