what happens if you take the pill and you are pregnant ?

Many women end up taking

Many women end up taking birth control pills while they are pregnant before they know they are pregnant. This is common, and there is no conclusive evidence that a brief exposure to birth control chemicals will cause any sort of birth defect in the unborn child.

However, you should avoid taking if these drugs if you think you might be pregnant. Birth control pills contain artificial hormones that are not necessary or appropriate for use in pregnancy. If you are not sure if you are pregnant, take a pregnancy test.

Best of luck,
